Vic Mix Pakenham (replacement) well underway!
Out with the OLD…and in with the NEW
After 15 years, Vic Mix Pakenham is being replaced by a brand new site located at 47 Exchange Drive Pakenham (about 650 metres down the road from the current site).
Construction of the new plant commenced in November of 2021 on a much larger site boasting the latest capabilities in modern pre-mixed concrete manufacture.
The Plant will be state-of-the-art and modelled on the Vic Mix Mornington design that has been in operation since 2018.
A fully automatic plant, it does away with reliance on human operated loaders, and delivers improvements in speed & accuracy of manufacture…more efficient than the current site.
A further improvement over the old plant is the ability to produce the ‘full’ range of decorative products. Exposed, Polished & Coloured concretes all catered for with additional silos, specialised weigh bins, and many ground bins for control of decorative aggregates.
Like other Vic Mix Operations, the new site has provision for a decorative concrete showroom. Coming later in 2023, it will provide Vic Mix customers with the experience & advise they have come to rely on.
It is hoped that the manufacturing Plant will be operational in early 2023.
