A list of surcharge fees that may become applicable for items & services related to the supply of pre-mixed concrete.

At VIC MIX, we aim to provide transparent and competitive pricing for our high-quality pre-mixed concrete. Below, you’ll find details about possible surcharge fees that may apply to certain concrete delivery and handling services. These fees help cover additional logistical or environmental factors involved in delivering your order.

When Do These Fees Apply?

Fees typically apply under special conditions. Examples include:

After Hours Deliveries: Orders delivered outside normal hours (e.g., after 4:00pm weekdays, Saturdays after noon, or public holidays) incur a surcharge of $25/m³ or $75/load.
Plant Opening Fees: If a plant must open outside regular hours, a flat $1800 fee applies, plus additional charges after 4 hours.
Waiting Time: If unloading exceeds 30 minutes onsite, a charge of $2.50/min applies (or $5/min after hours)

Normal Class

Normal Class is the term applied to a range of standardised concrete mixes as defined by Australian Standard AS1379. The intention of this “Class” is to provide a set of minimum standards that cover the vast majority of concrete manufactured in Australia.

Special Class

Special Class is concrete which is specified to have certain properties or characteristics different from, or additional to, those of Normal Class concrete. Such as Pre -cast panels, Green Star, Permeable Concrete, Low shrink pavements, post tension slabs, high strength 60MPa+ concrete, spray mixes etc.
