Post Tension Concrete

Description

40MPa 20mm Post Tension Concrete usually has an early age requirement.

Typically a compressive strength of 22MPa is required before stressing the structure – the earlier the post tension can occur, the earlier the construction site can move forward with the build.

Post tensioned slabs have some advantages over conventional ones:

• Structural members can be thinner
• Allows construction over expansive or soft solid
• Requires fewer joints
• Reduces shrinkage cracking
• Cracks that form are held tightly together
